Nokia E71 and E66 in India

Nokia E71 and E66 After UK market, Nokia has planned to release E71 and E66 business phone in India. Both of the Eseries handsets mobilize a broad range of personal or professional messaging needs, including Microsoft Exchange, the world’s most widely adopted corporate email solution.


The sleek Nokia E71 phone comes with a full QWERTY keyboard and the stylish, slide-to-open Nokia E66 sport easy-to-install and easy-to-use professional and personal email.

Professionals can access their email using the Mail for Exchange mobile email client, calendar, contacts and tasks, as well as download attachments like Word, Excel, PowerPoint or PDF files. However, only Nokia E71 has the freedom to allow users to edit MS Office documents.


These handsets assists consumers to access email accounts from more than a thousand Internet service providers (ISPs) across the globe and also chat with their loved ones through Gmail, Yahoo! mail and Hotmail. MS Xbox 360 Price lowers

Onkyo CBX-300 Yet another speculation that Microsoft will slash down the price of Xbox 360 video game console. Previously, there were rumors that the European markets will experience the price drop. However, the gossip didn’t turn into reality. Let’s see if this news, sourced from Hollywood Reporter, will make it to reality or not.


The price cut would be considered for the most popular Xbox 360 model, the 20GB Pro. The gaming industry confirms that it will be reduced by $50, selling for $299 from $349. Microsoft maintains its mum.


According to a major retailer that disagrees to disclose its anonymity, the price change will be taken into account before the major video game trade show - E3 that will begin on 15th to 17 July.


The last price cut was in August, wherein Microsoft dropped the retail cost of Xbox 360 to $349 from $399. Later that year, the company enjoyed the Halo-3 popularity.

Siemens has come out with a great Bluetooth device called the Gigaset ZX1 Class 1 Bluetooth Communicator with DSP 2 technology. With this device, you will be able to connect simultaneously to any compatible Bluetooth-enabled cordless or mobile phone while streaming music from a separate music source up to 100 meters.


The company also claims that the Gigaset ZX1 Bluetooth Communicator combines voice noise reduction and speech enhancement to help cut out external noise and interference. What is more, you could also act like a nerd and wear this device around your neck to avoid loosing it.


The Gigaset ZX1 is equipped with an additional standard headphone socket that allows for the use of wired headphones or even a PC gaming headset.


Users can also purchase the Gigaset ZX1 in a package with the Gigaset ZX2 which is also Class 1 Bluetooth adapter that enables any PC, TV or home stereo system (with headphone jack) to use Bluetooth audio connectivity.


With automatic alerts to incoming calls, the Gigaset ZX1 enables users to switch between music and calls at the touch of a button. For this to work, the user would need the Gigaset ZX2 to be connected to a music source or even the television, and the Gigaset ZX1 paired with a Bluetooth enabled mobile device.


The Gigaset ZX1 will be available in April 2007 and will cost 139 Euros (Rs.8162). the package including the Gigaset ZX1 and the Gigaset ZX2 will cost 159 Euros (Rs.9356)

4 GB DATA TRAVELLER USB

Data Traveler Kingston Kingston Technology has introduced a new USB 2.0 Flash memory drive called the DataTraveler Reader, which offers up to 4GB Flash storage capacity. It also includes an onboard SD/MMC expansion slot, which is able to read nine different Flash Memory card formats.


The Kingston DataTraveler Reader is available in storage capacities of 1GB, 2GB and 4GB. This flash memory drive is compatible with Mac OS 10.x and above, Windows 2000, XP and Vista platforms.


When the DataTraveler Reader is inserted into the USB port of a computer, the device is assigned two drive letters (e.g. G:/ and H:/). One drive letter is assigned to the DataTraveler’s internal storage while the other is designated for the expansion slot. Users can quickly and very easily work with both drives to either transfer files to the computer or between the USB drive and the Flash memory card inside the DataTraveler Reader.


The Kingston DataTraveler Reader has the SD/MMC expansion slot especially for reading nine different Flash memory card formats, which undoubtedly includes the new Secure Digital High –Capacity (SDHC) format. This new USB reader is compatible with SD, SDHC, miniSD, microSD, MMC, MMCplus, RS-MMC, MMCmobile and MMCmicro card formats.

Moller M200G

Moller M200G hovercraft Paul Moller, the Canadian-born creator of Skycar, has designed M200G Moller Volantor, a flying vehicle that takes-off and lands vertically.


Now, that reminds of ‘The Jetsons’, an animated TV show.


To produce M200G, Moller has used eight low-emission Rotapower engines and it speeds up to 50 miles per hour at about 10 feet off the ground.


The ultimate off-road vehicle is capable of allowing 250 pounds of passenger weight for a side, utmost 2 passengers can travel. Once, airborne, the flight times, lasts between 45 minutes and 90 minutes, depending on the vehicle’s speed.


Though, M200G can be termed as a UFO-looking saucer-shaped craft, after its release it might be called IFO – Identified Flying Object.


Moller can see this craft as the consumer purchase flying car, which can avoid traffic jams at peak times.



Earlier, Moller’s M400 Skycar was the flying car, which had an expected price of around $1M. The Skycar was an under development flying vehicle. It was designed for four-person, covering the maximum speed of 360 miles per hours at 6.7 miles above the ground.


Designed at a recreational vehicle, the M200G will cost at least $90,000 (approx. Rs. 3,618,900). The launch date is not yet revealed.

Cobra XRS-R9G Radar Detector with GPS Locator Unveiled

Cobra has released its latest radar detector, dubbed the XRS-R9G. This detector is the first US product that features a built-in GPS locator.

The features of the XRS-R9G include a wireless remote controlled radar/laser detector with speed and red light camera location alerts.


The speed and red light camera location database with updates are also included on the GPS locator that is available through the Cobra website. The device alerts the driver to slow down while approaching dangerous intersections or strips of highways.


The black spot indicates high accident zones, school and construction zones. It also features Super-Xtreme Range Superheterodyne, Maximum Performance 12 Band Technology with LaserEye that detects the fastest radar and laser guns along with POP Mode.


“Across the country, the number of speed and red light cameras is growing exponentially,” said Tony Mirabelli, senior vice president of marketing and sales at Cobra Electronics. “Our camera detection capabilities in Europe, through Performance Products Limited, combined with our domestic expertise in radar detection and GPS make us the most qualified to bring this new innovation to the United States. Now drivers can stay alert no matter where they travel.”



Moreover, Cobra has hooked both the GPS locator and the main radar/laser detector unit behind the rearview mirror at the top of the windshield that enhances the detection range and reduces the visibility of the unit from outsider the car.


Cobra XRS-R9G also provides the new XRS IntelliLink remote controlled detectors and lithium-ion rechargeable battery that allows the pocket-size remote to work up to 40 hours and offers 2-hour quick-charge option.


The Cobra XRS R9G radar detector carries a price tag of $449.95 (approx. Rs. 18,000).

Sony Ericsson Bluetooth Car Handsfree HCB-105 Launched

Sony Ericsson Bluetooth Car Handsfree HCB-105 With the MBS-100 speaker, Sony Ericsson also introduced Bluetooth Car Handsfree called HCB-105. As its name suggests, the device is very useful during driving.


It is a pocket-sized device providing convenience to communicate handsfree while on the road by minimizing physical distractions.


The HCB-105 can be clipped to the car visor with the help of the simple clip and can be controlled by two buttons.


The device works on the Li-Polymer 900mAh rating up to 25 hours and a standby time of up to 700 hours. The package of the HCB-105 Bluetooth Car Handsfree includes Cigarette Lighter Adapter CLA-61, to charge the device in the car.



Sony Ericsson plans to ship the Bluetooth Car Handsfree HCB-105 by Q1 of 2008.

iPhone and iPod Touch Users can Use GTalk for Chat

iPhone Gtalk With the increase in demand of online usage, Apple wants its revolutionary gizmos, namely iPhone and iPod Touch, to work as a full-fledge device, offering owners a complete accessibility. iPhone and iPod Touch allows users to Google Talk with their friends through Google’s IM client (GTalk). This new version runs on the Safari browser, eliminating the need to download or install setup.

It has enhanced the application and offers a streamlined interface with customize applications for users to personalize the tabs in the Google.com menu bar.
